Case Study

Problem

Early during my studies, I noticed that some people felt isolated or were lacking inspiration. I wanted to change that and my program didn’t have a student association yet.

Solution

I built UXplore into an official student association, organising events both fun/social and academic.

Process

Discovery

By empathising, talking to students and testing with different events or marketing strategies I gathered the following insights.

  • students lack the feeling of community within their study

  • the need for extracurricular design events and talks

  • an inspiration hub that showcases student work

Philosophy

The mission to help create more connection between the different years and within each year of the study

  • Spark inspiration and curiosity for what is possible, what is out there & enable students to feel more enthusiastic about UX

  • Offer help and support with relevant courses and events

Framer Website: A hub with useful information for students

As a fun exploration of Framer, I learned the tool and created this site within 3 weeks.

Collections of useful resources, guidance for new students, places to discover in The Hague in a website representing the association.
